Our Story
Harashi is more than a brand, it's a legacy.
Originally founded in New York as KBM International Inc., we had a clear vision: create high-quality but affordable products. Our journey began with recognizing a critical gap in the market— Limited choices for high-quality electronics at affordable prices.
With our new name, Haraishi, we hope to further honor the spirit of generations. Our name is a tribute to our founder's grandmother, Ayako Haraishi (原石絢子). It is our hope that Haraishi name will continue to represent artistry, resiliency, and the love of functional design.
